I sent a guy to jail tonight
I was at a concert and had parked in underground parking. We stayed after to talk to the band and so were pretty much the last people out of there. When I approached my car, some old guy was looking in the windows and trying the handles, so I grabbed him, put him up against the car, told him he was under arrest and had Craftgal call the cops. Then my son held him and I stood there looking threatening and officious.

When the cops showed up five minutes later, they said I did it exactly right. Turns out the guy had previous warrants for the same thing. They also praised me for having a club on the steering wheel.

1. Good for you!
Would that we could stop all crimes-in-progress so quickly and simply.

4. A friend of mine was at a concert and came out to find
that a couple was having sex in the car parked next to his. The owner of that car also walked out about that time, and freaked. He grabbed the guy and dragged him out of the car, and the guy started crying. He was smashed out of his gourd, and started begging "Please don't call the cops. I thought it was my car, please don't call the cops." The owner, finally disgusted, just shoved him and said "get out of here, looser," and he and his girlfriend started to stagger away.

My friend said as the staggered past him, the guy looked at him, winked, and in a very clear whisper said "Always act drunk."

7. As long as practical
He was skinny as a rail, looked like he could use a shower and a proper meal.

If he's a repeat offender, this may be his life, just rotating in and out of jail with his outside time spent on the streets. Maybe this time social services can find him a job at a recycling facility or something.
