How are you today?

So I went to the International meet-up yesterday evening. It was fun. I sat together with an Austrian and a French lady. Of course didn't speak English but German but I made connection with the Austrian lady, who is my age. We will meet for lunch one of these days. The next meet-up will be begin of February, I will go there again. Hopefully I will be able to talk some English then. But it is definitely a good place to meet new people.

We have a Boticelli exhibition going on in Frankfurt right now, and on Feb., 5th there will be a tour through the exhibtion by the International group. Guess who is going to the Boticelli exhibiton on Feb 5th? :)

Today is my swim class again. Looking forward to it.

It would be great to meet you too. Unfortunately I don't know yet when I will be coming to the U.S. again. Maybe, hopefully next year. Money is tight these days and I already have a big vacation planned for this year with my family. But whenever I am coming again I will meet you :)

Yes, I've been to France. More than once actually. Mainly to the Alsace, as it is close to where my mom lives. Also been to the Perigord. And in October 2008 I was the first time in Paris. Beautiful city.

My book club meeting is tonight and I decided to make meatless meatballs for an appetizer. One member does not eat meat. They turned out quite well.

Another very cold day today, but there's relief coming Wed-Friday. 40 will feel like 65. And we may even see 50! :bounce:

Yesterday was not slow like I hoped. I was on the road all day. Today I hope to stay inside and see to some inventory, and perhaps a catnap.

I'm hanging in there...going to doctors appointments today. I'm either getting a cane or a wheelchair, probably wheelchair. One day at a time.

My first appointment is at 16 uhr then onto the other doctor at 17 uhr.

My injuries, while in the hospital appeared to be only bruises and cuts and I insisted they release me so I could go to Markus. The subsequent injuries have developed over the last week. I'm going to be in physical therapy I think for a very long time. I hope no surgeries will be required.

I'll call you tonight honey and let you know how things went.

Yes, I had a great time yesterday evening. It was interesting. There were 4 ladies (incl. me) at the table. With one lady I couldn't connect at all, with the French lady it was alright and with the Austrian lady - let's say we chatted away :D

Went to the cast meeting last night. Saw a bunch of familiar faces, a couple of faces back from hiatus. Some old faces weren't seen, but they are returning characters, so we won't see them until rehearsal--if they're coming back. This is the 25th Anniversary of the renfest, so it will be a big deal. :party:
