The Freaking Time restraint Police on GD! They always seem to want to jump on someone if their posting isn't from a story that is 13 seconds old? I am not talking about the Breaking News ...its freaking General Discussion for heaven sakes! Since when did an odd story have to have a freaking time limit on it??? Screw it, I am staying in the Lounge.

2. It wasn't always that way...

I have been here for almost 8 years now and I can remember when there were polite discussions in GD.
My only guess is, that as DU grew it also changed at the same time. :shrug:

It sure seems like the Republicans have taught Democrats over the last 8 years that being rude and nasty is just being "cool". Its the in thing to slap down people and get laughs. I don't find it humorous at all. :argh: :rant:
