Why is it that they start pawing and USING litter boxes when I FINALLY have a chance to sit down on the couch with my Mac?

The litter boxes are in the bathroom and the spare bedroom. My sofa's in the living room.

On Edit: I know, OS X is a flavor of UNIX. I have a Mac Mini.
