Health Update

Mom took me to the ER on January 7 because my doctor said my stomach pains were that severe. Turns out that I have an ovarian cyst again, but this time coupled with gallstones. Eventually, I will have to have a surgery on my gall bladder, but I've heard that doesn't take long.

Anyway, thank you for your concern. Solidarity!

I have gallstones. They do not have to operate unless your gallbladder gets "hot". A good surgeon will advise you.

As far as the cyst, I know nothing about them, but I am sorry that you have them.

Do what your doctors tell you.

Take care of yourself...you will have a nice long life ahead of you.

5. the surgery for gallstones is quick and easy. In and out

I had to stay one extra day because they had to give me IV antibiotics before surgery. That was 13 years ago. It is so much easier than when my sister had hers. She has a really long scar. I have 3 little tiny scars.



Don't be worried by it. The worst part is the change in bathroom habits afterwords.

12. They will do what's called a lap-choly; a laparoscopic cholecystectomy.

Pretty simple procedure, with a short hospital stay afterward. I'm so glad they've figured out what the problem is, and can fix it. I hope it's the end of your chronic pain, and you can live more comfortably from now on, elshiva... :hi::hug:
