So sayeth E! Online. http://www.eonline.com/uberblog/b162122_This_Just_In__Jennifer_Morrison_Returns_to__lt_i_gt_House_lt__i_gt_.html

And I say yay. :bounce: I started watching Men for Scott Bakula :9 but I got hooked by the quality of the show. It's hilarious in an understated way, touching, smart, well-written, and doesn't belittle anyone. No aliens, no time travel, no dead bodies, no uberviolence, no laugh track. Not that there's anything wrong with any of those traits, but it's refreshing to enjoy a show with a simpler premise. It's just three guys trying to come to grips with being fortysomething, and it does it REALLY well.

It's become one of my favorite shows. I highly recommend it.

3. The one about the blind date?
That was fantastic!

Even the party store employees are great. "You don't even know what I just said do you?" "...No."

5. Who knew Ray Romano could be a sweet, subtle actor?
I am impressed.

I especially like the character of Owen, too--his predicament about being a sort of lazy son under his tough father's thumb, never good enough to win his approval. And I REALLY love his wife. She rocks!

6. His wife (Lisa Gay Hamilton) certainly is smart character.....
Their roles together portray a real partnership.

13. The character isn't a cliche either
It would have been easy to make her the strong/sassy/all-knowing black wife, but they didn't. I loved it when she went to the car dealership to tell off her father-in-law and ended up stumbling over her words and ducking out, embarrassed. But more often than not, she is definitely in charge--mainly because her husband seems kind of overwhelmed by everything.

7. I love this show.
Most of TNT's series are good or very good.

The only one I cannot get into is Leverage.

I love The Closer and Saving Grace.

11. I posted about how much I liked the show a few weeks ago, and got
some pretty negative responses. I am very happy to see people like it now...one of the few smart, well written shows on TV , and I was afraid that alone would doom it.

16. I made a point to watch the show when I saw the commercials for it before it aired.
I wanted to see it because the characters remind me of myself in many ways. Lord, if that wasn't the case. My significant other can't pick out which character I am most like. She sees me in all of them. I've even started saying the characters lines, BEFORE they say them. It really disconcerts her when they are repeating what I say. Love the show.
