10. That is NOT Spirit
well, not the original lineup that recorded this tune and the rest on "12 Dreams of Dr. Sardonicus." It's missing Matt Andes the bass player and Jay Ferguson, who was the lead singer, not the guy singing there in that 78 video. They certainly have the right to go on, but if you ever saw the original band the 1978 Youtube performance featured here is a pale imitation. But it's cool that the OP put up a Spirit tune!

Here is the "Real" Spirit quintet prior to their breakup:

AND , finally, the original "Natures Way"

11. I have that CD....
I knew the band went through changes, but didn't really follow...
I saw the original band in '68...
Played with Canned Heat...and the J. Geils Blues Band.
They were horrific...(J. Geils) an auditorium filled with freaks...and they were decked out in their powder blue suits...So out of place....and I've never liked them since...first impression..lasting. Just ordinary music from them...nothing intense...

Rambling memories...and thanks for the information.
I just listen....and live for music...

This could be the start of a J. Geils lounge war!:o

:hi:
peace~

14. Where was it?
What an interesting lineup. Canned Heat fit, but Jay Geils....not so much!

15. In MA
Worcester MA...can't remember where, though...
I did a search a long time ago...couldn't find anything....
I know Clark University used to host a lot of bands...couldn't find it there.
It was some old auditorium....wish I could recall...sorry:(
Sorry I can't recall even for my own head...;-)
They were local...so that explains it, I guess..

peace~
