1. I don't know who wrote that,
but the writer's punctuation and grammar is atrocious. He or she does not seem to know the correct usage of it's and its, plus other numerous boo-boos.

2. I have been seeing a lot of that lately - I read a Wikipedia post and was
really amazed by the use of incorrect words - bin for been, steel for steal, etc.- No child left behind-even if they can't write.

I have seen it also and its disturbing. Not only are we seeing the "dumbing down of America", now it seems that even well paid News Reporters have a problem putting a decent sentence together. That is really a sad, sad statement.


Note, most print worthy material goes though an Editor. One wonders if the ball was dropped on this one.
