Well I'm off to St Louis
St Louis Missouri, not Michigan for the completists out there....

Good news: Since work sprung this on me, the only tickets I could get were First Class. So yay! I get double miles AND a comfy seat.

Bad news: they sprung this on me with little to no warning, and it upset the family schedule equilibrium

But at least the weather is more or less the same in MO: 37 degrees, foggy and wet.

Here its about 40 degrees, rainy and wet.

1. yes, it's foggy and wet...
but they always say, if you don't like the weather in St. Louis, stick around a day or so and it will change!

Do you get a chance to see or do anything interesting while you are here? (I live in what used to be the boonies but it is now the suburbs!)

2. Not really - I fly in tonight, fly out tomorow
I have seen St Louis though

It was the summer and I loved it - - lots of Missouri lovelies like to walk by that river by the arch, if I remember

3. I don't know where you'll be, but if you're in the vicinity of SLU/Forest Park Ave/Barnes hospital
There's a simply delightful Scottish pub called the Scottish Arms with about 15 ales on tap and a HUGE selection of scotch whisky. Good food, too.
