1. Oh, the joys of live television
From what I can gather, Chick Lambert was working for a real slick car dealer named Ralph Williams--the kind of guy who'd roll back an odometer as soon as look at ya. Ralph fucked Chick once too often so, on one of his ad-libbed spots, Chick did THAT thing. This went out over the air.

Ralph sounds familiar. Houston??

I remember sat. morning commercials when the Larry Kane Show was on. It was a regional competitor for American Bandstand. Same format.

The used shitbox guy was Art Grindle. He'd bang on the hood of a car, and then sometimes the driver couldn't start it again!!!
