A YEAR ago today a 47-year old unemployed spinster walked on-stage at Glasgow's Clyde Auditorium and changed her life.
Susan Boyle has since become a worldwide singing sensation.

It was on January 21, 2009, that she auditioned for Britain's Got Talent, her bushy greying hair, unkempt eyebrows and gold dress making her a laughing stock with the audience and with judges Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden.

Until she started to sing. Since then SuBo has made the biggest-selling album of 2009, been namechecked on The Simpsons and her audition clip was watched by 120million people worldwide on YouTube.

I'm not going to watch the clip again because
honestly, I CRY every time I see it, and I'm
not up to it today...

I have seen LesMiserables TWICE, but I never
really listened to that song until I saw Susan
do it.
