1. Can the Southeast send you a little? We got about 2-3" in the last couple of hours!
It was raining so hard we could not see out the windows and we've got water standing in the yard even though we're at the top of a hill!

5. Here is the problem - we have not gotten our ground water levels back up
From our nearly decade long drought - even with the hurricanes and tropical storms of the last few years and a very rainy year last year. Central Florida is still on water use restrictions. Lots of people with nice landscaping are losing their plantings.

While I would love to send you some, we still need all we can get. I know for your part of the world, a very small reduction in rain is more critical than it is for us. I hope you get some rain soon!

3. You can have all you want, you just have to come get it
Seriously, this isn't a joking matter. My tan is starting to fade, and I haven't been rollerblading in days. Days! If we don't get help soon, our society will be on the brink of collapse...

8. It is coming. Or at least the radar shows it keeps moving west
But more keeps coming from the ocean.

I'd like some more thunder and lightning, but you may have the rain for now. We'll need some more in about a week though.

11. .98 at 7 (that's when I check for Rain Log)
and snow tonight down to 3500 feet so we may get mud covered by white stuff - I'll take it all. A little hard on the animals with feed being so minimal and now they are wet and cold but we need this moisture SO bad.

fyi rain log: http://rainlog.org/usprn/html/main/maps.jsp
