You know, using Cane Sugar and Coca Leaf!

8. last time I saw it was
summer of last year, they also had throw back pepsi as well(but I'm not a pepsi fan, so didn't try it).

The MT. Dew ones I saw were in like 20ounce bottles(perhaps bigger).

16. I do take offense to the redneckization of Mtn Dew
It was a perfectly acceptable college cramming beverage of choice in the 90's!

32. 'redneckification'...?
the hillbilly on the bottle harkens back to their original bottle, that i remember from when i was a kid.
btw- we drank it in college in the 80's as well.

18. I found mine next to the throwback Pepsi & Mountain Dew
First time I recall ever buying three 12 packs of soda at one time. But we only get a few chances to relive portions of our childhood. Best make the most of it when the opportunity presents itself.

You could truly enjoy this.

And a shot glass is what? 10 calories?

23. I have been following this issue for some time,
mostly based on the health risks of high fructose corn syrup. Also, virtually all other countries use sugar, and the verdict is unanimous that it tastes twice as good. BTW, this is a result of Congress passing protectionist laws on behalf of the American sugar industry. Cola manufacturers switched to high fructose corn syrup because it is so much cheaper than American sugar.

Original, sugar-sweetened Dr. Pepper in glass bottles is available from the old plant in Dublin, Texas, and available on line. It's easy to find on line.

The Mexican Coca-Cola in glass bottles is delicious.

I can't wait to try the throw back Pepsi.

24. The problem with HFCS is that it has all the health issues associated with sugar...
But none of the benefits (e.g. GOOD TASTE!!!)

Kind of like Log Cabin Syrup vs Pure Maple Syrup

27. I'm no expert . . .
But it is my understanding that HFCS really messes with the pancreas, much worse than sugar. Also a fairly recent study revealed mercury in a lot of HFCS samples.

Perhaps its more dangerous...they need to show emperical numbers, not just antecdotal cases...

i love boylans, and jones. goose island makes some awesome root beer. sadly, they discontinued the black cherry soda, but do still have vanilla creme and orange creme.
i think i will check out the pepsi, tho, even tho i am not a pepsi fan.
they have it at the costco here.

Takes a little getting used to, and I still like Mexican Coke just a little bit more.
