5. When I was a kid, I always wanted to stay up late and watch Johnny Carson.

When I got to be old enough, I couldn't because I had to get up early for work.

I haven't watched the show for about 35 years, don't intend to start now.

6. i grew up on Johnny Carson

but rarely watched the Tonight Show during the Leno years.
I've been loving Conan in the seat but I watched whoever had guests i was more interested in seeing, Conan or Dave.
I'll go back to Dave and maybe Conan will be a choice in late night tv again someday, but I think NBC has killed the Tonight Show. I know they have for me.
