Music storage, sorting and finding issues..

In my earlier inexperience with music downloads and storage, I now have songs all over my laptop.


What is the best way to pull them all together in one place. I also have duplicates I'd like to get rid of.


Ideally, I'd like to get them all off my laptop and on an external hard drive.

Any program suggestion or methods would be appreciated.

1. You could do a search

for them across your hard drive by file extension types. That will locate them and then you can move them all to one place and eliminate dupes.
