1. I don't wear one often. I have a clock on my phone and MP3 player that I use.

17. Same here. And I think the latter is correct for me. I seldom make calls. And I don't text or surf
on my phone. I have enough online time at home and work.

13. Who cares what time it is?
You can't do anything about it no matter how hard you try.

15. Some times I wear a watch but...
my cellphone has the time listed, so I really don't need a watch.

16. Why would anybody wear one?
I haven't worn one in 20 years and there's much less reason to today.

18. Are you one of those people who always ask me...
"What time is it?"

One of the few classes of people I wish painful death upon is that class who resolutely refuses to wear a watch but still occasionally has to be somewhere on time.

Then, when I answer "Time for you to get a watch," and walk away, they get all pissed off, as if I owed them that information.

There's even one person in particular who keeps telling me the fastest way to drive from here to there, but never wears a watch and has no clock in his car.

And then there is the new group of lowlife cretins who have cellphones, but out of habit refuse to look at them for the time and still ask others.

21. I have no reason to ask anybody the time.
Edited on Fri Jan-29-10 09:18 AM by Mugu
I have a cell phone, the clocks in both of my vehicles work fine, and most of the businesses that I frequent have clocks on the wall. My computer has a clock on screen, my microwave has a clock, my camera has a clock, I have several atomic clocks around the house, and my television has a clock. So no, I won't ever ask you the time and given your attitude I would most probably avoid ever speaking to you for any reason.

20. Much as I would like to live my days without a clock
the rest of the world doesn't think that way, and literally requires us to be aware of the time, if we want to remain employed, sheltered and fed ;)

If you are saying instead that those with phones don't need a watch, guess what? Not everyone carries their phone around with them 24/7/365. I am such a person. I know that if, for whatever reason, I need a phone, all I have to do is ask to borrow one for a call. I have yet to find a complete stranger that doesn't hand one over without even thinking about it :o

Besides, pocket watches are cool, and usually garner comments from young and old alike, and almost always positive :D

27. Pocket
A cheap wrist watch with one strap, so there's something to grab when I reach for it. I haven't worn a watch on my wrist for nearly 30 years.

If I'm on my steed, my bike gadget has a clock if I need to know - which is rare.

I don't know why, but when I wore a watch, I was always glancing at the time for some reason. Now I don't but am still very punctual.

28. My cell phone is my timepiece. I can' wear a watch anymore.
Although I do wear a pocket watch if I'm wearing a vest. My grandfather gave it to me in the late 70's and it was already old by then.

29. I checked the outside of my wrist
but that's not always the case. Sometimes I wear a necklace timepiece and other
times it's on a fob.
