I got SOLID foods for Breakfast today. If my levels are good in the morning, I can go home

2. Wow, I know what that is like--I just got over a bout of pancreatitis myself

I've been out of the hospital about a week now. My peak lipase was over 3300. Yup, that really, really hurts. In my case it wasn't medical treatment that caused it, they suspect my gall bladder, but this was my fourth bout and they could never identify a casue the other times. My gall bladder is coming out in a week I hope that takes care of it.

11. At first my doc thought that my pancreatitis was caused by my gallbladder.

A MRI showed a pancreatic Divism.. One end of my pancreas has the beginning of an evil twin. Now I'm waiting for the V.A. to decide if they can correct it with surgery.
