22. Yes, "Marley and Me", a major tearjerker. Most of the theater was crying, me too.

I had taken my 17 year old goddaughter and she was patting me on the shoulder, but anyone who ever had to have a pet put to sleep knows what it is like.

Anyways, I cry easily for sad and happy, even patriotic (the scene in "Casablanca" where they sing "La Marseillaise" at Rick's to counter the Nazis singing--gets me every time).

I get the thing for sappy and patriotic scenes too. I'm a history freak and there have been a ton of movies set in different time periods that have made me misty-eyed because I know the history behind them.

Josh comes home.

When Grace hangs herself, and her mother comes home to discover her hanging from their tree in the back yard...it always gets me.

After Grace dies, there is a scene with her father Jake. Jake is pretty much a worthless, brutal/violent man, and the scene starts with him drinking in his livingroom, and you can tell he is mourning the loss of his daughter. He gets pissed and goes out back to the tree his daughter hung herself on and RAGES out on the tree with an axe. The axe handle breaks, and he continues to hit the tree with his fists/hands, while sceaming/crying.

This scene always hits me, it is the first time it sunk in that this man actually cared about his family, and he felt bad/remorse that his daughter died.

Both scenes, always hit me very hard.

71. Haven't cried for hours

but did cry, in the theater for 'Dead Man Walking' as the movie moved to the execution time, 'Saving Private Ryan' at the end when Ryan teared up so did I and I can't help but get misty eyed at the end of 'It's a Wonderful Life' when all the people turn out to help George. Can't help myself, it pushes some button in me......... :shrug: but I don't mind :)
