I'm looking to draw a picture of Faux News in the context of the old name for the state radio in Nazi Germany. Anyone know what the name was???

The organization originally was named "Reichs-Rundfunk-Gesellschaft" ("Reichs-Broadcasting-corporation") during the Weimar republic, a company owned by the German states and the Mail Service.
The Nazis continued to use that name, but took over the regional stations and transferred ownership to the propaganda ministry.
The stations were named "Reichssender X", were X was either a region (east, west,...) or the city of the station.

Example schedule (1938) :
9.00 Uhr politische Morgenfeier (political morning celebration)
9.45 Uhr Kriegsdichter erzählen (war poets report)
10.00 Uhr Treue um Treue (fidelity for fidelity)
10.30 Uhr Ewiges Deutschland, Vortrag des Leiters der Gau-Schuluingsburg Kronburg der NSDAP (eternal Germany, lecture by ...)
15.00 Uhr Ein Kämpfer aus dem Krieg berichtet (A fighter from the war reports)
15.45 Uhr Uns formet der Krieg (The war forms us)
16.00 Uhr Die Wehrmacht singt (The Wehrmacht sings)
16.50 Uhr Sudetendeutsche Märsche (Sudeten... marches )
17.05 Uhr Blasmusik aus sieben deutschen Kriegen (brass music from seven German wars)
18.00 Uhr Vom Leben und Sterben eines deutschen Offiziers (Life and death of a German officer.)
19.10 Uhr Die Treue, eine Kriegserzählung (Fidelity, a war report)
20.00 Uhr Vermächnis der grauen Front (legacy of the grey front)

Edit: the eagle on the upper right corner is the logo of the RRG:

7. My God, that schedule sounds like something out of 1984.

I'm surprised the Two Minutes Hate isn't in there.

And did you notice that 8 or 9 out of those 12 programs have something to do with war (I'm including the Wehrmacht singing show)??? And this was a 1938 schedule, to boot.

4. When talking about the print media in the U.S., Kel, I use the term
Volkischer Beobachter a lot. That usually gets me blank stares until I explain it to them. If I really want to piss someone off, I'll call their rag, Der Sturmer. I sure know how to make enemies, don't I?

5. I learned a lot about that rag in "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich".
The official Nazi party publication.

Well, it can't be that bad. And at the moment I'm not too fond of the European media either.
I'll spend a few days in the US anyway; I'll use that time to sample more than just the "usual" US media and compare it to the situation at home.

8. I get the CBC here in the Northern US.
You'll absolutely love it (at least compared to the US media).

They also sell the Winnipeg Sunday newspaper here as well.
