Where can I get some cheap wrinkle free button down shirts?

3. Macy's offers Geoffrey Beene dress shirts in a literal rainbow of colors for about $20 a pop.

They are a cotton/poly blend. Now, I hate polyester, but if you want wrinkle-free, it's the best way to go. As long as the poly amount is less than 50%, you'll be okay. The Geoffrey Beene blends are 55%/45% cotton/poly.

I've got about seven or eight of these shirts. They're terrific. Ironing is kept to a minimum, and if you are going to be wearing the shirt under a suit or sport coat, you may not even have to do that.

4. Target, WalMart and about any other discount store. Depending on

quality, you can't get much better than $25 or so each. Just be sure they are clearly marked wash & wear, or permanent press, or never need ironing, on the shirt. Not on a sign on the wall of the store.

6. Yeah, part of the down side of getting a job. But I would take one

anyway, net is still something.
A job has costs associated with it. Viz, $25 for a shirt, and yes, they do expect you to have a clean one every day.
Even in an office I will sweat a bit. I can use a t shirt underneath which must be changed daily.
Then the dress shirt can go 2 or 3 days.
Plus, transportation costs.
We have to wear uniforms, in effect. $250 minimum, $25 shirt, 100 or more for good shoes that last and don't smell after a week or two.
Life ain't cheap.
