2. Two things
One I want my ribeye so rare that if I whistled for it it would jump off the grill itself

Take those boiled new potatos and then peel the center and flash them with butter and heat in a frying pan and brown them for a nanosecond

and

ONLY PEOPLE IN THE SOUTH CAN MAKE PEACH COBBLER RIGHT SO SEND me some!!

(btw...I only posted in this thread so you would know there is a woman out there that actually nags you MORE than Mrs. U :D )

13. I think rarer steaks look way more enticing and edible than well done.
Well done tends to get that grayish look and is like sawdust when you chew. Plus the iron is lost. :hi:

Not much on the seasoning, either. If figure that if you're going to have steak, taste the meat!

12. I'll take a pass on the no doubt excellent cooking, - but
-I'll send a kiss to the cook. (Make it a good one, he's a very special cook).

And a birthday hug to Ms. Uly. You'll have to deliver the birthday hug on my behalf. I know you'll do an excellent job.

15. Yum, yum, yum!
I make a very similar dinner sometimes, only I slice my new potatoes and roast 'em, after tossing them with olive oil and rosemary.

Oh, is that peach cobbler served warm with vanilla ice cream?

:9

Wish the wonderful Mrs. Uly a happy birthday!
