I first encountered the gaping thing in 99 when adult webmasters liberated him from stileproject and used him as a sort of mascot. I've seen the whole set of images and the original iconic one so often, he just doesn't phase me. When he pops up, I whisper to myself, "You lucked out again. That could have been tubgirl."
