The Travel Channel. Its both disgusting and fascinating that the same time.

Theres all these shows on the travel channel devoted to some fat guy trying to stuff this giant mound of food down his fucking pie hole in some record time.


Its so gross but I cant stop watching. It pisses me off that the guy never finishes anything though! I watch the guy try to shove a 10 pound omelette into his face all at once and he pukes!


Then last night I saw several shows about where you can go in your home town and try to kill yourself by eating a 10 pound hamburger. They showed several people puking.

I watched some girl eat like 2 gallons of ice cream. That scared the shit out of me because I'm lactose intolerant.

1. You know he's in trouble when the challenge

is only a half dozen item, like chicken wings so hot you can almost feel the coming out of the TV. Like you said just can't not watch.:crazy:

2. TV for the most part is garbage. You state some perfect examples.

But these are ones that do perfectly represent a very common american concept. Waste as much as possible, enough is never enough, be a pig, etc.
Even travel, they can not simply just show a good trip. That always have to try to create some artificial turmoil or crisis.
Entertainment value, they call it. Yes, for idiots.

Why on earth are they on the Travel Channel?
