Poll question: Best Picture of 1994?
Here are the five Academy Award nominees for Best Picture of 1994. Forrest Gump won, but which do you feel is best?

4. By all means, The Shawshank Redemption. I love Tim Robbins and
Morgan Freeman. I'll watch anything with those two in it.

5. Shawshank
I didn't see the movie until 1997, and after I saw it I thought to myself, "How did I live the last three years without seeing this movie!?"

8. I also saw Shawshank years later, but had the opposite reaction.
I had no interest in seeing it, but everyone I knew raved about how great that movie was, so I decided to check it out. I was bored; I guess I just don't get why people love it so much. :shrug:

6. Either Shawshank or...
the only other option is the final entry in The Three Colors Trilogy by Krzysztof Kieslowski: Trois couleurs: Rouge. Personally, I find it a little boring, but there are a lot of good things to be said about it for sure.

7. I'd pick Pulp Fiction out of these;
I also really liked Four Weddings and a Funeral. Hated Forrest Gump.

9. I can appreciate that other people really like Shawshank
and I like it myself, but it always struck me as being kind of like The Little Rascals Go to Prison.
