My Computer Has Had A Change Of Heart! It's Decided to Work Tonight!

Since Saturday, for some reason or another, my stupid computer got extremely slow and wouldn't let me open the IE browser! Now, that was one of the worst things that has happened to me since I've found DU, I mean hell, even when I went to Pennsylvania I didn't have to suffer this kinda withdrawl. So, I guess everything is working fine now, at least for the moment. It better not flip-flop on me :grr:

1. Have you defragged your harddrive recently?

Also how much stuff do you have running in your system tray (your virusscan, WeatherBug, stuff like that)? Both of those can be a major cause of slowdowns.

5. dont forget to clean your disk

and google for regclean a microsoft free reg cleaner program - all will make your system run better and help to avoid future withdrawals.
By the way did your puter make beeping sounds before it died?
