GET EXCITED!!! DU banner ordered for March for Choice in DC

I've just sent the form in to order the banner for the DU Delegation for the March for Choice. The banner will just say "Democratic Underground" (I was limisted on how many letters) and you can view a sample of the banner at this link:

This is the banner that all delegations will be using in the march.

I'm hoping that we have a good size group of DUers marching with us behind our banner.

6. Kids, limited vacation time, and money.

The plane tickets would be too expensive, especially since we are already committed to a family gathering in California this summer.

But it would be cool to meet you, after crossing swords with you so much. (And I do hope you know that I meant all of it in fun, even if I took it too far...)

15. I Am So Psyched About This!

I am a veteran marcher, beginning in 1979 at the National March for Gay and Lesbian Rights. Bertha has been to only one March in DC, the Millennium March in May, 2000. We were at Equality Rocks the night before the march, too, and we had a fabulous time.

I am really looking forward to meeting my fellow DUers face-to-face.
