Variations on a theme of CHOCOLATE
O.K., so I love chocolate.

However, I am by physical nature an adherent of the Classical bar of "Moderation in all things."

(O.K., also non-observing of "Moderation".)

SO, chocolate in EXCESS does not agree with me to a HIGH degree: For example, the divine Oreos, even the MORE divine double creme, dunked in ice cold milk (SKIM!1) result in the CONSTIPATION. (I need to be CLEAR.)

So as a remedy, chocolate chip cookies work better because the in-between yeast dough or whatever it is ameliorates the full effect of the chocolate.

However, whatever Butterfingers is made of, the gunk inside the chocolate coating, seems to work better, even though there is sometimes the sticking-to-the-teeth thing going on.

And CAKE doesn't have the correct consistency, for some reason, like it's too POROUS or something. Apart from chocolate, PIE is better than cake: Preferably, the lattice types or the NON-top-crust types. And I cut the edges OFF the pies, for less dough, besides that commercial pie crusts are SO un-tasty.

But after all these years I've discovered that chocolate BROWNIES (is that redundant?!1) have a HEAVIER consistency/texture than CAKES and so far don't have the first mentioned deleterious effect of the Oreos.

Just thought I'd share. Ain't that what da Lounge is for?!1
