1. An agoraphobic person maybe? |
Where did you hear about that? I've sworn off every forum on DU except for the lounge so forgive me if the question has an obvious answer for those who brave the other forums.

4. Maybe he's trying to save whatever beer he has left in the frige |
I imagine he may have consumed about 15 already.
I really appreciate you guys working the 911 phones. I've had to call you guys several times in my duties as a trucker. Not to save my hide yet, fortunately, but several people in trouble out on the roads.

2. Once, I was modeling for a painter friend of mine... |
. ... and the inside of her CHIMNEY caught fire. Cool... WAY COOL jet engine sound -- probably much like an approaching tornado. . She called the fire department and they came running in with axes and full gear on. Easy enough run -- I think they just hung out 'til it went out of its own accord (this was about 20 years ago). . I was sitting about 10 feet away eating my breakfast (taking advantage of my "break"). . She was bowled over by the fact that, not only did I remain dead calm during all the hubbub... but by the fact that I could EAT something. . Hey. . After all. . It was PEANUT BUTTER Cap'n Crunch. . . Or did I just interpret you post WAY too literally? . . . And, in answer to your unspoken question (even my MOM asked this question after I told her I was modeling for a painter)... I was naked. . You know... underneath all the clothes I was wearing. .
