1. I wouldn't want to go back to scooping, so yes.
It's not trouble free and it can toss the litter if you let the box get too full but it is really out of sight, out of mind except for once a week here. Helpful hint** Line those plastic boxes with a plastic grocery bag and tuck the handles under it, then just throw out the bag when it gets full. Lots cheaper than buying those plastic boxes. I have been using the same box for months.

2. Is this the thing that automatically cleans the box
after the cat uses it? If so, I have heard some bad reports on it. It has killed some cats because it closes before the cat is out of it. This info I received via the many animal rescue groups that I am affiliated with. Goggle this product before you purchase it.

4. Really? I've never heard that
I'm involved with several animal rescue groups here. That is really scary, because our cats have used it for years. I will look into that - thanks for the tip!

3. Yes, oh god, yes
We've had as many as five cats, and that thing has saved our sanity like you wouldn't believe!!!

For one or two cats, you might find it expensive. But with our four, we wouldn't be without one. :hi:

5. I prefer scooping; I want to look at the cat flop to monitor cat health
there is much to be learned in reading the flop!
