and people comment without clearly having read the article

it's a pet peeve, in ANY forum. I like to know what the link IS before I click.

5. LBN is my favourite forum at DU. And, I love an excerpt from an article.

Sometimes, I will click on the link for more detailed information on the story. And, when appropriate, I will rate the story.

And, yes people should READ the article if they're going to post. Likewise, they should READ the previous posts to the thread...to avoid redundancy!
