I am absolutely shocked at how much I pay for utilities (propane, electricity, phones (including cell), internet, TV, satellite radio, trash, water service, and drinking water). Care to guess how much?

1. About $275 a month for me excluding water, sewer, and trash

which is included in my condo fee of $131 a month.

2. I don't even know, so I had to look it up: around $500 a month not including fuel oil.

Around 125 for dish TV.

About 125 a month for electric.

About 80 a month for cell phone.

Around 130 a month for landline and internet.

Anywhere from $600-900 for fuel oil every few months; we've switched to wood heat so that went way down.

I think $30 or so a month for trash, I'm not sure.

No water or sewer charge; we have a well and a septic.

Hmm, about $450, including garbage and water fees, in the winter - even with the new furnace, which was a bit of a surprise. We tend to use some of those oil heaters which look like radiators in colder areas, so I think that kicks the cost up a bit.

In the summer, probably about 250?

...and about $60 in summer. We heat with wood during most evenings and don't need much heat otherwise. Water is expensive here though, about $70/month. Cable internet access is $50, and VOIP phone service is $28/month. The SO pays for cell phone service on top of that, but I don't know how much.

We've been as high as $500 a month, it all depends on the gas company's budget plan amount.

Our water/sewer is high here, costs as much or more than our electric each month and I hear it's going up another $20 a month sometime this year. They're getting darn close to charging nearly as much as the water/sewer costs in fees so they can keep up the equipment/water/sewer plant. Funny thing is, most of these old houses here, mine included, still have wells but we're not allowed to use them.
