Say something nice about Corey Haim

Haim made a career playing the ordinary, albeit well groomed, younger foil to Charlie Sheen and Jason Patrick. No small feat in the over-blown, muscles and hair atmosphere of the 1980s. His performance in "Lucas" stands out as Haim created a likeable character who is neither too cute nor annoyingly perfect. Rare is the actor who can play the title character of a feature film with charm and subtle restraint at the age of 14.

I once shared a blackjack table in Vegas with Corey Feldman and a couple of his posse... the fact that he was playing at a table with a low enough limit that *I* would play there told me a lot about the state of his career. And he was losing rapidly at the table, too. This would have been during those "awkward years" of his mid 20s.

I actually still like that movie,
The only bad parts were Corey Feldman, Jamie Gertz, and the weird freaky saxophone player.
