According to the Sierra Sun newspaper, the producers of the popular MTV series built the sculpture sometime between 2PM and 3PM Saturday evening in front of Truckee's train depot on Donner Pass Road.
Truckee town manager Tony Lashbrook told the newspaper "Jackass" producers approached the city about a permit to film a sculpture in the town and was asked if the statuette would be pornographic in nature.
Lashbrook told the newspaper, while response from residents wasn't overwhelming, "we got enough" phone calls regarding the statue.
The sculpture was gone by 4:00pm that day.
