I have a few, many in my immediate family. How about you?
PS: I really don't care what they think, but I do think it's a bit weird.

3. I don't think what I've experienced is normal... but I do have many friends who wish good things... |
|
for me, including my husband.
I'm glad you don't have peeps in your life like that. I KNOW I also have people online who wish bad things for me, too.

7. I am more and more convinced every day... |
|
I think it may be time for me to start culling my herd of friends, ya know, like the ones who sound disappointed when something good happens for me?

8. Gah if I ever understand that. |

My sisters - or at least one sister - has been rude to me at every moment in my young life that involved my "stepping up" somehow.
 for you.

11. I wonder if men have the same experiences with friends etc... |
|
sometimes I think women can be so poisonous to each other, but I am sure their behavior is somehow the fault of those suffering from 'broken 'X' syndrome'. back atchya :P

9. Not "in", but probably on the periphery. |
|
A few people I know, but am not friendly with. Mainly due to our divergent views on politics. If they think about me at all.

10. Yeah, it's odd to me how a difference in political perspective can cause that much enmity. |
|
But I understand. I'm glad that they're on the periphery!

I'd hate to think that all this shit is just happening by itself.

I stopped living a certain lifestyle and certain bad things stopped happening to me. Then good things started happening. This pissed off a contingent of my ex-friends who believe I don't deserve the good. I get a report every couple of years from the one person in that life who is happy for me. We giggle about it.
