TRENTON -- A 47-year-old woman was arraigned Friday in 33rd District Court on a charge of felonious assault with an automobile.

Patricia Szwabowski is free on a $50,000/10 percent bond after police said she drove her 2002 Ford Focus through the front wall of Carefree Kitchens, 1625 West, on Thursday.

According to police reports, Szwabowski and her husband, owners of the store, were out on a job site.

She said that on the way back to the store, her husband started punching her with his right fist.

When they arrived at the store, Szwabowski's husband got out of the vehicle they were in and she went to her own car to leave.
