My 6 week old niece has been wretching in stomach pain...

She has bad reflux and barely slept until she'd pass out.

It's heartbreaking to see. The doctor put her on Prevacid and now she's doing great.

This morning she even slept for 5 hours straight. She's been like a different baby.

Reflux seems even worse than colic, I feel for new parents who go through this.

2. Poor babies, I never knew this could happen to them...

It's painful enough for us, I can't imagine what it's like for them with all their sensitive tissue.

My baby had it a little bit. Luckily it passes, and they don't seem to remember it. It is tough to go through for the parents and tough on the baby.

5. my daughter had reflux as an infant.

We had to give her some liquid medicine, I can't remember what it was to save my life! It started with a Z. LOL it's funny that I can't remember what it was, it was only about a year ago!

You're right, it was a bitch. We went to soy formula, and it helped a lot.
