There's an F-ing mouse in the wall right next to me.
I've got baited traps in the cellar and in the attic above & below where the fucker is chewing on something. DIE MOUSE DIE.

Tomorrow I take my can of foam and seal up under the shingles every fucking hole I can find.

I really, really, don't want to resort to bait poison again (a chipmunk was collateral damage last summer) but no fucking way is my house going to be shared with a mouse colony.

1. With all the snow and rain on the east coast
a lot of mice have had to come inside. I'd borrow a cat if you can. One that can hunt.

2. There are 2 that live next door
And while they're friendly enough, they are fairly useless in the mouse department.

I swear I am tempted to drill a hole in the wall here and just push some bait into the hole, then plaster over it.

3. My ex-wife and I lived on the Kentucky/Tennessee border...
.
...in this tiny little A-frame DEEP in the woods,
set about 10 feet off the ground on posts with a
little creek running underneath it.
.
Very cool. Very romantic.
.
In the winter, when you took a bath, you could hear
who knows how many field mice scurrying around under
the tub, taking advantage of the all-too-transitory
warmth.
.
We thought it was cute as hell.

if/when it croaks, it will smell to high Heaven!!!
Any chance You can borrow a cat or dawg a few days? They will locate the invader, & the invader will SMELL the cat (or dawg) & likely find a reason to relocate..to a whole new bldg.

I can relate! I have several(!) dang pigeons nesting on the side of my bldg..all hours of the day & night, I hear them making little pigeons & having pige-y O's.. it's quite disturbing..annoying..INTENSE. They are destructive,& nasty, too, so I am OFFENDED they insist on doing their dirty-bird bizness on MY wall. :banghead:

5. I think that I have pige-y O's...
.
During the afterglow, instead of cuddling or rolling over
and falling asleep, I like to strut around the bed flapping
my arms and doing that pecking neck thing.
.
You should see it.
.
It's pretty damn hot.
