I am typing very slowly on my new ergonomist-approved curved keyboard,
It is wireless and so cool.

Sort of strange typing at a angle.

Spent a little of the income tax refund.

1. New-fangled gadgets just confuse me...
.
...more than usual.
.
Behold... MiddleFingerMom's geezer-friendly keyboard.
.

.
Now... if only Fisher-Price made one.

3. That is cool..
My neighbor still has as old phone, still works.

It is odd to use it.

Works when the power is out.

Looks like you have a lot of fancy buttons on the rig.

4. "We'll see how this is accepted in the corporate world where...
people have actual work to do instead of just dicking around."

(And the next one about he weather channel being biased toward weather...)

5. It's late...
.
Until I got to the very last "just dicking around", I was taking
an Onion news report seriously... thinking to myself, "Well,
instead of ten fingers, I'll just be able to use two fingers and
two thumbs" and "GEEZ... it took him 45 fucking minutes to "type"
an email to his friend."
.
Got me.

6. Don't Ipods have wheels.
Why not.

I know some people who type really slow, this would increase their speed.

I love the Onion.

8. I almost spit my coffee out at "only" 45 minutes to send an email. They...
do those too well.

7. I'm thinking about getting one of those, since I have RA
and since I use the computer quite a bit, thought it might bring some relief. What do you think? Worth the expense?

10. I don't know yet.
It does feel better typing at a angle.

I don't have any problems with my hands but this can't hurt.

The keys board will feel different, but after a few days that will go away.

The one I bought has extra buttons not really needed, there are cheaper models.

I like it so far.

14. Please let me know how it feels in the days and weeks to come,
because I'm getting so sick of the claws my hands are turning in to. A bit of pain relief would be wonderful.

Best thoughts and wishes to you, texanwitch!

9. For me, it it ain't broke I don't look to fix it. My keyboard works just fine & I'm happy with it.
I learned touch typing over 40 years ago and it has turned out to be the most useful class I ever had in high school. No, I'm not the fastest typist, but I am able to do it without ever having to look at my hands or the keyboard (well, hardly ever).

11. I took a quarter of typing in Jr.High
a quarter!! That's a half semester! It stuck with me after years and years of not using it when I got my first computer.

13. I used one of those for a while when they first came out about 20 years ago. Hated it.
It actually made my shoulders sore because you have to hold your elbows out wider to keep your wrists perpendicular to their respective key sets. Isn't worth shit on your lap, either.
