5. God, I hate that
Men who are not much to look at -- yet the women in their lives have to be perfect.

Thankfully most of them tend to be single.

7. Exactly.
I can't count how many entirely average and boring men have taken me out a time or two then told me I'm too ... tall, fat, old, whatever ... when's the last time THEY looked in a mirror ???

Shallow bastards.

8. Then on the other hand you have the guy that looks good ..
and is a total A**hole. Women that choose them are said to be smart women making bad choices. It's hard to feel sorry for them.

15. Have you EVER seen anything I posted about what *I* find attractive?
*I* don't insist my women look like Britney Spears.

I actually prefer women with more realistic body types, and I find particularly sexy women who are satisfied with their own body.

9. You're not 40, TXlib!
As we get older, we can't be perfect, but we can be healthy and take care of ourselves regardless. I know the better I feel, the more I'm willing to excersise and be healthy. I'm still in my early's 30's but I'm much healthier and in better shape than I was in my 20's and continuing to improve every day.

10. once you crack 40
The metabolism slows down, and it gets incrementally harder to
get the workout momentum to burn off those calories... not that i
don't agree, but when i was in my early 30's, i would have said like
you did in your post sarahbelle.

Roll the clock forward 10 years and post the same thing... i think
not.

Being 40 and having 20 year old girls talk to you like their dad
is worse... passing in to the middle-old age period of social
invisibility. Inevitably losing the war on old age and death,
there is no happy ending for a human body. Fat, corns, discolouration, cysts, and bad eyesight await most of us. Why not
embrace those colourful things... they make for great conversation
to get rid of young flirts.

I take a steroid type medication for athsma, and one of the side
effects is weight gain... geez, i wish the reverse was true. I
hate having multiple wardrobes of fat and thinner clothes. uugghh.

:-)

13. Nothing wrong with 40 or more
My husband is 41 and his appearance is the least of our issues. I actually think for men especially, this is when they hit their prime, but no, they're not going to attract 20 year olds anymore (should they?). Exteriors are only a part of things.

17. Why would you want to get rid of young flirts?
I'd feel pretty good if a 22-yo chick chatted me up at the gym.

19. Ok, so i'm in the city of london
Dressed in the normal kit of that business zone, a coupla grand's
worth of clothes that are the "uniform" for investment banking.

At the pub after work, a young girl has a flirty chat, looking
at my cufflinks, fancy tie and such... women are much better than
men at totallying the cost of your wardrobe and calculating how much
you can afford to pay for dinner.

Whilst i agree with enjoying a flirt. I'd rather flirt with someone
who's not on to me for something external. I've flirted and fucked
my way through 2 decades before marriage. It was fun, and i'm not
so interested to be honest.

11. somewhat the same thing here
I wouldn't trade my 30's for anything, even to get my 20's back. Probably can't run as far and fast as I could 15 years ago but I'm perfectly happy with the shape things are in today :)

and Brittney is just gross :puke: you guys can have her

It just takes me *A LOT* longer to stop! But I hear ya, my 30's were way better than my 20s and my 40s are fine so far.

16. No, but it's already very hard to lose weight.
I've been sticking with my exercise regimen, and my weight and waistline have held steady for three months! :grr:
