But he had about 10 businesses running all the time and his hobby was penny stocks. Some or these businesses he kept going for 35 years and some were a here to day and gone tomorrow. One was buying old places and selling off all the old stuff then selling off the land then building. I think he got bored so was off on to some thing else. His real 35 year business, with men to help run it, was slow in winter so he would think up these other things. Once he even had an old time diner. 93. Yep. Long story short:

He knocked up a feral we fostered nearly two years ago. We kept two of that litter -- Petey & Toby -- and months later took Daddy in, too, after his family abandoned him. He was all beat up, starving, had fleas, worms, ear mites... he was in sad shape. We took him to the vet & got him neutered and all doctored up. Then his ex-family stopped in -- we didn't know the kid from Adam -- to reclaim him. Like a dunce, I let him go, but Daddy knew where the love was. He came back 3 weeks later.
