Does anybody besides my wife pronounce "crayons" to sound like "cranz"?

Does anybody besides my wife pronounce "crayons" to sound like "cranz"?
She also says "emBRORdery", and says that was picked up from her grandmother, who was from Baltimore and D.C.

1. I say cran. It's regional.

4. hubby says vantastic instead of fantastic. he often changes his f for v. odd. so precise
to the point of snobby on grammer, speech ect...

5. I recently hard a recording of my voice, and discovered that i pronounce
"National Grid" (our utility) as "National greed" - a totally unintentional pun!

6. Yeah I guess I do..didn't realize it though
cranz ...one syllable...cra-yons...two syllables. One syllable is easier :)
I'm from Northern IL and I think that's how everyone says it in my neck of the woods

9. craaay yawns is the way I say it, but I usually call them colors, get your colors and book

but I got a southern Texas accent...I say caddle instead of cattle, badderies instead of batteries, my tt's are pronounced d's...well, maybe not attention, it's aaa tenshun.
