Maple Bacon ice cream is just wrong

The ice cream stand down the road from my house just introduced it recently. And yes, it has real pieces of bacon in it. Finding bits of meat in your ice cream is just so, so wrong... :puke:

I made some maple bacon chocolate chip cookies for a party recently. A vegetarian cousin of mine handed them out for me. Two people broke their Lent fasts for them and there were a few requests for the recipe.
