Incongruent meals. Post yours
Foods that go well together, but are just wrong.

I have a few favorites:

BLT on a bagel.

Beef curry.

Shrimp and kosher pickles.

Pick some food you love that is an abomination in the eyes of God.

2. That sounds good, actually
I'll have to try it.

One thing you should definitely NOT try, is any Mexican mole and lemonade.

Lemonade makes mole taste like green bananas.

Edited on Sun Apr-04-10 07:10 PM by rox63
Came across it today. Simply wrong on every level. I like ice cream and I like bacon, but not together.

6. bacon brulee
a local restaurant features this on their desert menu. Creme brulee made with bacon and garnished with candied bacon. It is surprisingly good. but then, bacon makes everything better.

First introduced to me by a gentleman many years my senior.
Kept a bowl of Butterfinger Bits on his bar to munch whilst sipping the Scotch.
