3. Bela plays banjo...
Edited on Thu Mar-25-04 04:39 PM by Tripper11
but he's taken it out of bluegrass and to a new level via a jazz route that is very original.
Victor Wooton on bass, nothing short of briliant.
Future Man play a device he calls the drumitar, which is an electronic version of drums and guitar combined through his own invention.
They have since added a basson player, a saxophonist, oboe player and steel drums.

Eclectic to say the least yet some of the most amzing beautiful origianl music I have ever had the pleasure to listen to and see live for that matter.

Great jams!

4. We've seen the Flecktones several times
The last time there was a heatwave and an overcrowded venue, so that sucked and we left early. Still, there were some very special moments.

All of them have grown as musicians. It's a great mix.

It ought to be a pillar of enjoying music--to be a true music lover, at least once in your life, you must go hear Bela Fleck and the Flecktones play live.

So enjoy that DVD!
