I had a friend with a cat who played fetch with her special silk rose. He threw a birthday party for the kitty and presented her with a brand new silk rose - kitty would have none of it. She only wanted her ratty old rose.

11. Love it. One of ours used to do that with a small ball of yarn.

But she stopped after a few weeks.

She still loves tin foil balls though. I keep finding them behind furniture and in shoes!

12. I love Charlotte.

She reminds me of a super cat I had a long time ago, a blue-point Siamese named Bubba who talked incessantly, followed me around the house, presented his belly to be rubbed by all visitors to my apartment, and, yes, FETCHED! Our specialty was crinkled up cigarette pack cellophane, which made a very nice noise. He's been gone for a long time. Thanks for bringing him back to me for a moment.
