that could be kinda cool, actually. Just don't make it too big around like those giant snakes, keep him somewhat thin so it doesn't totally take over the lovely 'canvas' :)

Depends. Have you gotten a tattoo before? That's a sensitive area you're talking about. Got 5 myself, but all on my arms.

25. Advice from someone with tats...

before you get a fairly big piece like that...you might wanta consider a couple of smaller ones first to get comfortable with the artist and make sure you want them to do something big on you that will be there forever. For example, as much as I love my first tat I wouldn't have the woman who did it do anything really big. I would have the guy who did my second one work on me again though.

22. Make sure you get a really good artist.

All ink should be done by a competent artist, but especially with something that big, I'd make damn sure.

You also might want to consider where clothes will sit when you decide on exact placement. A few coils visible at the waistline in jeans might be more appealing than the whole tat...keep 'em guessing ;)

I was thinking more hips, you're talking waist. With the right design, it could be really interesting.

Again, www.bmezine.com has a HUGE number to pics. My ink is an original (well, an existing design that I modified enough to be nearly original, anyway), but Bmezine was a great resource for ideas.
