Mayday

When we were kids, we used to make flower baskets with construction paper and tissue. On May 1st we would take them to someone we really like and put it at their doorstep, ring the bell, and run away.

Anyone else ever do this on Mayday?

1. I never did, but my daughter has done that several times.

She and her friends run around the neighborhood and put little jars of flowers on neighbors' doorsteps.

I thought it might have just been a 'hood thing because I never hear anyone mention it anymore.
