donate it to medical science?

freeze yourself?

I've always been fascinated with science fiction. 500 years ago who could have imagined the world we live in now.

I would seriously consider freezing my body so that in the distant future they may be able to revive me.

1. Hrm...
Probably relavant parts to medical science, wake (for closure, etc.) and then cremation. I'm diabetic, so if we still don't have a cure for it, they can certainly study me! Not like I'm gonna need it then!

2. Cremation. I have my urn and everything...it's white with blue grapevines
and branches on it; in this life, it stores my coffee beans *lol*

3. What's with all the death threads today?
I posted one about caskets just about simultaneously.

Oh, just leave it in a ditch somewhere. Maybe a feral cat is hungry.

16. Well, I'm 26 (nearly 27)
so I remember seeing it in reruns during the early 80's, and then whenever the Scifi Channel shows it.

cremation, and bury me under a newly planted tree somewhere. That way I can be useful.

13. Cremation. I think it's criminal to be buried nowadays.
It's an inexcusible waste of land, IMO.

Plus, the funeral industry makes enough outrageous profits. I don't want my survivors to spend $6000 and more on some damn casket. Idiotic.

Terry

14. Cremation for me. I told Mrs bearfan that
I want to be cremated. She can put my ashes in the fire at the deer camp. I hope I don't come back as a deer(just kidding).

15. Oh, curse my eyes!
It matters not what you do! You are liberals, and as such your body will face the fire and brimstone in the Lake of Fire. Should you be buried, the land upon which you are buried will become barren and lifeless. Should you be cremated, your ashes will defile any container or span of land they encounter.

It matters not, liberals. It matters not.

21. it's a beautiful day
the sun is shining and it is even 70 degrees here in P-burg. And everyone is thinking about death and burial. Okay. You should all get out of your houses and go outside! ( assuming it isn't still snowing where you are);) Or at least take your laptop and go and drink some latte somewhere!

that is my suggestion to you... it is what I intend to do.

Thank you, Dr. Mom

22. I'm going to hell in a hand basket
cremation, ashes deposited in said handbasket and delivered by my nearest to Tate's Hell in Franklin Co, Fla, an exquiste natural area that I love.
Now, if I could I'd prefer to be hacked up like chum(after death!) and fed to the gators & turtles. But they won't let me.

25. Toasted and Sprinkled in The Bunker On The 4th Hole
The course i play has 46 fairway bunkers, and 21 greenside traps. I have been in about half, but most only once or twice. But, that bunker on the 190 yard par 3 (#4) i've been in a hundred times!

So, i want my wife to toast me into sand and dump me in that trap. I might as well, i've spent enough of my life there. I might as well spend the time until the sun goes nova in there too!

29. My first choice is..
..shoved in a Hefty bag and placed on the front lawn for trash day.
But, I doubt anyone will do that for me. But honestly, I am wishing to be cremated. As for the ashes, I haven't decided yet.
I also had the idea of having a solar powered electric eye embedded in my tombstone so that when someone walked by a voice recording of myself would wish them a good day. That was before I got serious about the cremation thing.
