Lars Von Trier's "Dogville"

Even the bad reviews of this movie, like those of Dancer in the Dark and Breaking the waves, make me want to see this movie even more.

Von Trier is no doubt a total crackpot but the stuff he comes up with is so out there and convention defying that I can't help but be fascinated by it.

It amazes me that in all the bad reviews of a 3 hour movie with no sets, rudimentary sound effects, and actors miming things without props, not one of them has said it was boring or slow. That just boggles my mind.
