Question about cow tipping - need advice.
Should you take a running start, or gently place your shoulder on them and then heave?

How fast should you run afterwards?

2. Run faster than the cow falls, that's for sure
A running start tends to make the bovine form resemble a brick wall. Won't work.

6. I must protest the Texans...

...who think cow-tipping an exclusively Texan pasttime. I witnessed cow-tipping frequently during the old days in Florida while I was out foraging for mushrooms. Wait. I think I witnessed this. Does the cow leave trails as it falls? Does the cow morph into something resembling the Creature from the Black Lagoon? Bet that doesn't happen in Texas!

8. doesn't matter, they won't fall
they won't stand still (it's a damn myth). So after many a fruitless night drinking mad dog and then trying to tip cows, my friend Jim from college came along. Jim was a rugby player, 6'2, 225. He took a full running start at a cow that was briskly trotting, hit it, and bounced off it while the cow kept right on moving. Impossible I say!

9. The only time I witnessed a successful tipping...
it took half of the damned varsity football team.

It made me sick.
